A leading provider of high fashion eyeglasses needed to rebrand their marketing and shopping site into 16 languages with localization and integration to their Magento ecommerce engine. To react quickly to competitors in an international marketplace, a content management solution that would provide its marketing people direct management of the local language content across its digital channels was required.
NRG Edge implemented a Magnolia CMS solution for the provider that was responsive and adaptive to the complex design needs of the marketing site. Working in conjunction with the internal ecommerce team, NRG created a Angular-based single-page app that retrieved catalog and product detail information from the ERP system via Restful API's and combined the data with Magnolia CMS content to generate a dynamic and fully content managed ecommerce site.
Local offices in every continent were allowed access to only the templates and pages that pertained to their language and custom needs.
